The council

The men on this page are not gurus.

They are practitioners, guides, and facilitators who have done the work — and who show up to hold the standard for every man in this collective.

The Council exists not to lead from above, but to stand alongside. To challenge, witness, and hold accountable. To bring hard-earned expertise into the brotherhood without ego or performance.

No one here will tell you who to be. But they will hold you to who you said you'd be.

That's the difference.

Greg Lang

Greg spent twenty years as a production designer in film — building other people's worlds. For the last six years, he's been helping men build their own. He lives on a homestead in the mountains of Northern New Mexico, where his work is rooted in nature, ceremony, and honest conversation. He has facilitated men's groups, sacred hunts, and psychedelic integration experiences for five years — sitting with men in the moments that matter most. Greg founded The North Forge because capable men deserve a place that holds them to a higher standard.

Founder

Ethan Peters

Ethan Peters is a husband, father, and builder of things meant to last. For more than five years he has led men's groups and walked alongside fathers seeking to become more present and more whole, and through his work with Sacred Hunting he helps men return to the land and to themselves. He is most at home outdoors, practicing and teaching survival and wilderness skills, working the soil, or moving heavy iron in his garage before dawn. What ties it all together is one question he keeps asking and keeps living: what does it mean to raise good men, and to be one. If that question lives in you too, his work is worth following.
